Who we are

A language platform built to last

FreeTranslations was launched in 2009 as a small project to make basic translation accessible online, free of charge and without registration. Over the following years, the platform grew alongside the rapid evolution of machine translation, and what began as a single text translator developed into an integrated suite covering text, voice input, and synthesized speech across more than 200 languages.

Today, FreeTranslations is operated by Transfree Co., Ltd, a language services company registered in the United Kingdom. The platform serves a global audience that includes independent professionals, businesses with international communication needs, educational users, and people who simply want to understand content in another language.
